Matt. 28:19-20 says “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” 
 
In keeping with the command of Jesus, our goal is to help churches make disciples. Our desire at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention is to see everyone who professes faith in Christ move on from that decision to a deeper lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord. The first step in that discipleship process is baptism and the second is teaching them to live as Jesus commanded. Developing an intentional process of making disciples is vital to moving people beyond a simple profession of faith to deeper devotion.
 
There are several ways in which we can help your church in the area of discipleship:

• Strategy: Options for customizing a discipleship strategy designed to fit your church’s personality and needs. 
• New Member Assimilation: Discover multiple options for incorporating new members into the ongoing life/ministry of the church.
• Discipleship Groups: Developing a process for moving from foundational discipleship in Sunday School to closed discipleship groups.
• Age Groups: Examine training options and resources available for age group discipleship (adults, youth, and children).

Bible Drill
