VBS is an exciting preschool, children, and youth event built around a thematic Bible study. The LifeWay VBS 2008 theme is "Outrigger Island: Living God's Unshakable Truth". 
 
Because VBS is the most effective evangelistic strategies in the Southern Baptist Convention our team encourages churches to plan and enlist leaders months in advance. Most VBS take place in summer, but there are many different schedule options use by churches. Some churches hold VBS Monday through Friday with some churches doing mornings, some churches doing afternoons, and even some churches holding nighttime VBS. Another popular option is weekend VBS.

May 3- First Baptist Church, Mountain Home (11AM-2PM)

COST: $6 Advanced Registration, $8 At The Door.

LifeWay Expands VBS Tools Online

Managing Vacation Bible School is easier than ever!  For 2008, the e-business department at LifeWay Christian Resources has released an updated version of VBS Tools Online with new features that include an enhanced version of class
rolls that includes volunteers and teachers and medical/allergy information for participants. 

The online tools not only benefit VBS leaders but parents and volunteers as well by providing online registration through a customized website that can be linked to the individual church's website. 

The VBS director can print valuable reports such as volunteer lists,
class lists, participants by class and VBS schedules for volunteers.  LifeWay
developed VBS Tools Online to be used by anyone with basic computer skills. The
icon-based system makes navigating the tools easy for VBS administrators and
produces reports that are clear and helpful to volunteers and teachers. For
