Be It, See It, Risk It, Do It
This Deacon seminar can be led in a quick 2-hour overview or a 4-6 hour conference or retreat. The four sessions explore the basic areas of being a deacon and doing what a deacon does:
-
Be It: Character & Discipleship (biblical qualifications & spiritual growth)
-
See It: Mission & Vision (what motivates one to serve & where that service is going)
-
Risk It: Courage & Change (moving beyond survival to worthwhile changes)
-
Do It: Strategy & Teamwork (deciding what approach to use to work as a team)
To schedule this training, contact Denny Wright.
Deacon Ministry Teams
Organizing deacons into ministry teams seeks to use the unique gifts, talents, & skills of each deacon to minister in an area they are most likely to succeed. A deacon conference or retreat is available to lead Deacons to approach this strategy of Deacon ministry. Click the links in the left column of this page for a sample Deacon Team Ministry :
