Deacon Training

Deacon Ministry training is available in the areas of Deacon Ministry Teams, Deacon Family Ministry, and various aspects of Deacon ministry skills such as hospital visitation, crisis ministry, or peacemaking.  To schedule training for your Deacons or get more information contact Denny Wright.

Be It, See It, Risk It, Do It

This Deacon seminar can be led in a quick 2-hour overview or a 4-6 hour conference or retreat.  The four sessions explore the basic areas of being a deacon and doing what a deacon does:

• Be It: Character & Discipleship (biblical qualifications & spiritual growth)
• See It: Mission & Vision (what motivates one to serve & where that service is going)
• Risk It: Courage & Change (moving beyond survival to worthwhile changes)
• Do It: Strategy & Teamwork (deciding what approach to use to work as a team)
