"Men need to be connected with other men. We need to surround ourselves with other Christian males—guys who can challenge us, share our struggles, help us up when we stumble, and cheer for our successes." - Robert Lewis, founder of Men's Fraternity

Scope of Men’s Ministry
Jesus said, “Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Men’s ministry includes gender-specific ministries, which are designed to help men come to God (evangelism), grow in Christ (discipleship), serve through the church (ministry) and go to the world (missions).
- Why?
Men’s ministry seeks to help men develop a clear manhood vision and provides a safe environment where men discover they are not alone in their struggles, challenges and achievements. Men’s ministry provides biblical role models, practical training and encouragement to fulfill their God-given roles (Deuteronomy 6:5-7; 1 Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 5:23-33; 1 Peter 3:7).
- What?
Men’s ministry is led by men, for men.
- Who?
Men’s ministry is for men ages 18 and older, who are in various stages of life.
- How?
Men’s ministry occurs through male-specific outreach events, Men’s Fraternity groups, Bible and discipleship studies for men, male accountability groups, one-to-one and one-to-a-group mentoring relationships and ministry and mission projects.
- When?
Men’s ministry may occur at anytime of the day or night, including, but not limited to, 6 A.M. Men’s Fraternity mid-week meetings, weekend sporting events and designated discipleship hours.
- Where?
Based on the purposes of each group or ministry to men – open or closed group and ministry teams – men’s ministry can occur in church buildings, homes, gymnasiums, ball fields, golf courses, stadiums and other venues.
