Why Professional Certification?

 

secretary.jpgMost professions feature a program to certify the professionalism of those in that profession. What is a Master Plumber? What is a certified professional electrician?

What is a certified piano teacher?

 

Every profession has a definition of what it takes to be considered a professional in that area. The members have defined all the requirements and process for becoming certified. Certification gives credibility to a person in relation to their peers in their profession, as well as the community or company they are serving.

The Association of Arkansas Baptist Secretaries is sponsoring Professional Course Certification and SkillShops April 24-26, 2008, at CentralBaptistChurch, North Little Rock.

 

This LifeWay Church Resources event is available to all ministry assistants in churches or associations. SkillShops are available for those who have completed certification or desire training in a specific area.
