Missions education: What’s fact and what’s fiction? Is it just studying about missionaries or is it discovering your God-given call to be on mission? Is it just for kids or can it involve people of all ages? Is it just for traditional churches? Does it make a difference in the life of a church?

The Missions Support Team is here to help you sort out fact from fiction about missions education. We can assist you in developing missions education that works for your church.

Missions education only fits in the culture of traditional churches.   Everyone can be a missionary. Missions education is taught  through a   variety of settings.   Missions education does make a difference.

Missions education is just studying about missionaries.   Missions education isn't only for kids.   Missions education is not important.

Why should you have missions education?
• To awaken believers to their God-given call to be on mission
• To equip people with skills to do the Great Commission
• To involve more members in praying for and giving to missions
• To develop members spiritually toward a missions lifestyle through Bible study and hands-on involvement
• To involve more members in doing missions in their community, state, nation, and world
