Vacation Bible School (VBS)

VBS is an exciting preschool, children, and youth event built around a thematic Bible study. The LifeWay VBS 2009 theme is "Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back to Jesus".
Because VBS is the most effective evangelistic strategies in the Southern Baptist Convention our team encourages churches to plan and enlist leaders months in advance. Most VBS take place in summer, but there are many different schedule options use by churches. Some churches hold VBS Monday through Friday with some churches doing mornings, some churches doing afternoons, and even some churches holding nighttime VBS. Another popular option is weekend VBS.
