What is "Your Life Matters?"

Participation from Arkansas' churches in the 2006 statewide Simultaneous Revival emphasis "Your Life Matters" has been incredible. God's hand has been on this emphasis since its "grass roots" beginnings over two years ago. Pastors, associational missionaries, and church leaders from across this great state have prayed, prepared, and are now conducting revivals and evangelistic events as you read this description.

A Soul-Winning Campaign

The goal of Your Life Matters is to encourage a tremendous harvest and a great work of God in Arkansas. Churches will have multiple options for getting involved, including:

• prayer events
• pre-evangelism or connecting events with the unchurched
• Sunday School growth events
• a high attendance day
• a statewide simultaneous baptism day
• and in-state mission trips.

The importance of being intentionally evangelistic

The phases of Your Life Matters set the stage for a spiritual harvest. Trust that the Holy Spirit will bring people to the point of decision. It is crucial to intentionally seek out those who are ready to make a decision for Christ. The following three categories of evangelistic events currently are the ones most used by our churches. Refer to your copy of the Your Life Matters Overview Guide for lists of suggested First Touch and Harvest Events.

  Build a friendship bridge to provide an opportunity
  for a future Gospel presentation.
• Harvest Events
  Build a friendship bridge, but with the express purpose of presenting the Gospel
  and seeking a response at the event itself.
• 40 Days Campaigns - 40 Days of Purpose and 40 Days of Community.
