James TurnerWhen young children are asked what they want to be when they grow up, most state occupations like doctors, firemen, policemen or superheroes. My answer to that question, beginning at age three was ALWAYS an emphatic, “I want to be a Pastor!” I ran from that calling in my teenage years, but have always returned to it again and again. As a Church planter now for 19 years, I have seen God do some great things and I cannot wait to se what He has in store for Hot Springs and Encounter Church!!! With EVERYTHING in me, I desire to see people come to a relationship with the Lord and to find healing and restoration for themselves and their families!!!
We’re SO thrilled to be planting Encounter Church in Hot Springs! According to statistics, more people are coming to a relationship with Jesus Christ as a result of new church plants than any other way. Our passion is to “Bring the Life-Giving Message of Jesus Christ to Hot Springs so that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.”
