People Group Discovery Workshop - Northeast Arkansas

People Group Discovery Workshop - Northeast Arkansas

Word Baptist Church
416 Calion Street
Jonesboro, Arkansas

The Missions Team at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention would like to invite you to a Northeast Arkansas People Group Discovery Workshop. This will be a brief training for both pastoral and lay leadership who are working among internationals in your local context, in hopes that you will take these tools back to your churches and mobilize a team who can help discover unreached people groups in your area. This research will contribute to both a statewide Arkansas Baptists Ethno-Linguistic People Group Mapping Project as well as the IMB + NAMB initiative at  www.peoplegroups.info. The only cost involved will be that of your lunch at the local ethnic restaurant you are helping to map.

Event Schedule:
10:00-10:45   Vision-casting and mapping tutorial at Word Baptist
11:00-12:15    Lunch in pairs at a local ethnic restaurant
12:30-2:00     NEA Mapping Update, Next Steps, and Q&A at Word Baptist

As a follow-up to this training we will also schedule a Zoom Video Conference at a later date. The purpose of this conference call will simply be to share ideas and celebrate ways the mapping tools have been used in Northeast Arkansas.

If you plan to attend this training please register for free on the form below. In the meantime, please spread the word to other area pastors, and invite any of your key leaders that might be available that day.

Thank you again for your partnership in reaching unreached people groups in Arkansas.
