PraizFest 2019

Get ready for an exciting weekend, Friday night and Saturday, January 25-26, 2019, with a massive choir made up of students from all over the state under the direction of Clinician Dan Baker. PraizFest is for students grades 6-12. Whether your church has a few students who love singing or several dozen students in a student choir ministry, PraizFest will be an opportunity for them to meet, rehearse, and sing a finale concert with students from all over the state.

 LEADERS REGISTER HERE -- NOTE: You will need total number of students and adults attending, student voice parts, and T-shirt sizes for your group to register. Completed registration must be submitted no later than January 14, 2019. All persons attending must pre-register (students and sponsors). 

Cost of Event: Registration is $25.00 per person (includes all snacks, lunch on Saturday & PraizFest T-shirts). Please make checks payable to ABSC and mail on or before January 14 to ABSC-PRAIZFEST, 10 Remington Drive, Little Rock, AR 72204.
 

Note: Leaders/Directors will need to order the PraizFest Arkansas 2019 Music for your students, if your church doesn't already have these selections. See below for ordering information. 


PraizFest Schedule
Friday, January 25, Arrival Time 6:15 p.m.
Solo Tryouts, 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. (students trying out for solos must have signed permission from director)
First rehearsal starts at 7:00 p.m.- VERY IMPORTANT REHEARSAL!

Saturday, January 26, Opening worship- 8:30 a.m.

Grand Finale Worship Saturday, 3:00 p.m.- Invite Friends and Family!
The Grand Finale Concert attire will be jeans and PraizFest T-shirt.

    Every church is responsible for ordering your music for PraizFest. Every student should bring their music in a 3-ring binder.

Our PraizFest 2019 Clinician-  Dan Baker was PraizFest Clinician in 2015. Students loved him so much, we are having him back!  He serves as the minister of music at First Baptist Church in Amarillo. He conducts the sanctuary choir and youth choir, which, in his time there has toured and done mission work in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas City, South Dakota, and New York.  Before coming to Amarillo, he served in churches in Mesquite and Saginaw, TX.  Before his days in full-time ministry, Dan enjoyed success as a Texas high school and middle school choral director in the Garland Independent School District. Dan has experience on the stage as well, performing in musical theater and opera. Dan and his wife, Jodi have been married for 22 years and have three children, ages 23, 21, and 18.
