Sunday School & Small Groups

For most churches, the largest ministry organization is the system used to organize people into groups. These groups are often the primary vehicle for Bible study, ministry care, prayer, and mobilizing volunteers for ministry. Many churches use on-campus Sunday morning groups and refer to them as Sunday School classes, Life Groups, Community Groups, or another term.

In some churches, small groups may meet exclusively in homes or other "off-campus" locations. In still other churches, groups meet both on and off campus, on Sunday mornings, and at any other time that adults can get together. Wherever and whenever groups meet in your church, this page will help you discover their purpose and how to fulfill it.
