Did you know that Vacation Bible School is the most effective evangelistic strategy in the Southern Baptist Convention? VBS accounts for 25% or more of all baptisms annually. What is Vacation Bible School? VBS is an event centered around sharing the gospel with children, youth and/or adults in an active way. Usually in the summer, Vacation Bible School uses hands on Bible teaching combined with games, crafts, snacks, music and other activities to share the message of Jesus.

The great thing about VBS is that each church can personalize it to best fit the needs of the church and community. Some churches base their entire VBS around recreation and others around music.
