Weekday Education

Childhood is precious. Children matter to God, and they matter to us. The Weekday Early Education Ministry of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention seeks to support and encourage churches in ministries such as mother’s day out, weekday preschool, daycare, and after-school programs. Our primary training events are the annual Weekday Early Education Workshops. However training and consultations are available throughout the year and can be requested by churches by calling or emailing the office.

Weekday Early Education Workshops

Mission Statement

The annual Arkansas Baptist Weekday Early Education Workshops are coordinated and funded by the Evangelism and Church Health Team of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention through Cooperative Program Funds.

Registration Fees are required to supplement the costs of presenters, printed handouts, lunches and additional conference expenses. The workshops are designed to train directors, teachers and other staff of weekday early education programs in ABSC churches and other early childhood centers.

Our goal is to assist early childhood leaders in meeting needs and providing excellent learning experiences for infants through kindergarteners as they develop physically, mentally, social-emotionally and spiritually.

Early childhood leaders are encouraged to guide the spiritual development of young children by including Bible truths in their curriculum, working cooperatively with families, and providing a loving Christian environment while the child is in their care.
