Events like a Sons of Virtue weekend provide a way to help fathers build their relationships with their sons and assist men in mentoring unchurched boys in the community. Boys learn how to build racers - small wooden cars - with help from their dads or mentors. Before the race, the men lead the boys through a Sons of Virtue lesson about friendship. More than half the boys attending a recent Sons of Virtue event in Nashville, Arkansas, had no ties to the church.
