CONNECT 2012 is designed to:

• Connect students with God through worship, guided morning devotions, prayer time, and evangelism/ministry opportunities.


• Connect students with other Christians as they serve and work alongside students and leaders from churches around the state.


• Connect students with the community as teams work all day Saturday in different locations throughout the Russellville/Dover area doing light construction, yard work, evangelism, and various other projects.

WHO:  All students in 7th – 12th grades and their youth ministers/adult leaders.
WHEN: April 13-15.  Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday.  
WHERE: Cedar Glade Encampment, Imboden, AR. The Black River Baptist Association will serve as our host for the weekend.
HOW MUCH:  Only $25 per person! Includes lodging; Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Sunday breakfast; and program expenses.

Space is limited to the first 200 youth and adults to sign up. Registration deadline is Monday, March 5. CONNECT VIDEO:

A week long missions experience reaching out to people in the Batesville and surrounding area showing the love of Christ through our words and acts of service. Let this be a week which equips you to go back to your community and reach out through love, action, and Truth.

When: July 9-13, 2012

Where: Independence Baptist Encampment—Bethesada, AR (outside of Batesville)

Registration Costs: $85.00 per person prior to April 16, 2012. $100.00 per person after April 16. ($20 non-refundable deposit to hold spots is due March 1, 2012. This deposit can be transferred) Deadline to receive registrations is June 4, 2012.

Student Summer Missions 
World Changers

Student Summer Missions Summer missionaries assist local churches, campus ministries, and NAMB missionaries with evangelism and church planting. Their work concentrates on helping in community ministries, ministering to teenagers, working with campus ministries, or assisting in church planting.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have completed their freshman year in college and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Must be an active member of a Southern Baptist church to receive travel funds.
• Serve 4-10 weeks, May through August.
• Receive travel and insurance from NAMB.
• Room and board provided by the place of service.
