ROGERS, Ark. – The 173rd Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention will be held Oct. 19-20 at First Baptist Church in Rogers.

The 2026 Annual Meeting will begin Monday evening, Oct. 19, following the conclusion of the Pastors’ Conference, and end Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 20. Attendees will have opportunities to hear encouraging sermons from Clint Pressley, Wes George, Laramie LeQuieu, and Mark Dance. We will also worship together and celebrate all that God is doing in Arkansas. The two-day event will include the election of officers, recommendations from the Executive Board, miscellaneous business, reports from the Credentials Committee and Convention Nominating Committee, and Cooperative Program ministry reports from Arkansas Baptist leaders.

An overview of the 2026 Annual Meeting schedule can be found here.

Among the recommendations to be presented to the Convention is a Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) Capital Campaign designed to strengthen and support BCMs across Arkansas.

The recommendation calls for a three-year statewide BCM Capital Campaign, running from Jan. 1, 2027, through Dec. 31, 2029, with a goal of raising $15 million to support the construction, acquisition, or renovation of BCM facilities at strategically selected university campuses across Arkansas. The recommendation also includes the necessary Convention authorization for the statewide campaign and calls for an initial $1 million investment from the Arkansas Baptist State Convention to launch the effort.

Additionally, the state’s 2027 Cooperative Program (CP) budget of $20 million will be presented to the Convention, along with the 2027 goals of the Executive Board teams.

Only elected messengers are eligible to vote on Convention business, but everyone is welcome to connect and fellowship with other Arkansas Baptists from across the state.

Anyone desiring to present a resolution should provide a copy of the proposed resolution by Oct. 14.
