Engage Camp set for June 15-19
Engage Camp will return to Camp Paron June 15-19, offering students a missions-focused experience designed to equip them to live out and share their faith through worship, evangelism, discipleship and hands-on ministry opportunities.
Abby Hutchins of Shiloh Community Church in Fayetteville first began attending Engage Camp as a counselor five years ago.
“Immediately, I knew something was different about Engage from a traditional church camp. It was so incredible to watch our students not only learn about missions but to actually go out into local communities and practice missions,” Hutchins said.
“It has changed the hearts and focus of our students and carried over into our student ministry when we come back home. Our kids love missions and Engage has given them that foundation and fueled their fire. I see them on fire for sharing the gospel in their own schools, homes and communities because of the skills they learn at Engage. I encourage any church to bring a group of students.”
Whether students are preparing for a mission trip, sensing a call to ministry, or simply wanting to grow deeper in their faith, Engage Camp is for them.
“Everything done at Engage is very intentional,” Hutchins said. “Even the fun games and activities tie back into how we can live out missions in our own lives. I can’t think of a better camp to pour into our students.”
Camp personalities this year are Kyle McNutt, associate pastor at New Life Baptist Church in Alexander, and Matt Hall, Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) minister at University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.
