ECON 2020

December 2, 2019
ECON 2020

The Statewide Conference on Evangelism and Church Health (ECON) is just a few days away!

As one of the largest annual gatherings of ABSC pastors, staff, and lay leaders, ECON provides a great opportunity for Arkansas Baptists to come together for encouraging worship, powerful preaching, and uplifting fellowship. God continually uses ECON to encourage us and focus us on Him and on His call to reach the unreached.

I am excited about the speakers who will be with us this year. Robert Smith will be joined by Adam Greenway (President of SWBTS), Pastor Tom Richter, Pastor Kie Bowman, Apologist J. Warner Wallace, and Evangelist Ronnie Hill. The Cross Church Worship Band will be leading us in worship.

If you have never attended ECON or if you are new to the Arkansas Baptist family, I would like to encourage you to consider joining us this year. The event is free because of ABSC churches’ generous gifts to missions through the Cooperative Program, and we will be meeting in Little Rock at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. They are great hosts, and you will be blessed by their gracious hospitality.

We will be having lunch workshops on Tuesday at the conclusion of the conference for pastors, ministers’ wives, worship leaders, student pastors, and preschool/children’s ministers. The lunch workshops are free, but please register at absc.org/econ for the purpose of meal preparation.

Make plans to spend time with your Arkansas Baptist family this January 27-28. Join me in praying that everyone who attends will come ready to worship, to be encouraged, to be challenged, and to hear from God!
