The Grind: Navigating A Church Plant During COVID-19

In this episode of The Grind, Greg and Neal talk to Dave McClung on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected his church plant. They talk about what he's doing to encourage and continue working with his team, despite social distancing rules and tips and tricks on how to keep momentum thriving for the ultimate goal: progressing God's Kingdom forward.

Questions Discussed:

How is this crisis affecting your core group?

How are you combating your group's anxieties/fears?

What are you feeling? Praying for?

How are you using all of this as an evangelistic tool?

How are you staying sane throughout all of this?

What suggestions do you have for other new church planters, or ones thinking of still church planting, as they try to navigate through this?

Key Takeaways:

The calling doesn't change in the midst of this.

People are seeing how hard it is to be the church when you've depended on that Sunday gathering to define that.

Families are taking ownership of disciplining their kids.

There is no question now about if humans really need connection because this has proven that we definitely do.

It's not the strength of our faith, but the strength of Jesus that we put our faith in.
