Our mission is to engage, equip, and empower God's people to spiritual action in Christ.

"'Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" -Matthew 28:19-20

Carthage is a rural town of about 300 people, 75% of whom do not know Christ. We minister to single-parent families and many broken families. Helm Church is the only Southern Baptist Church in Carthage. Our vision is expanding beyond just Carthage to the other town in our 71725 area code. This area covers six small towns that represent half of Dallas County. We call this the "725 Project," and we plan to reach them through outreach, block parties, food patries, prayer walks, and after school programs. With the help of God and the Holy Ghost and individuals and churchers partnering with us, we want to fight the fight of faith. Our desire is to see those without Christ find their way to Him.

• That the core team will grow spiritually and in numbers so the church will grow stronger to accomplish all that God has for them to do
• For the Walker's as they walk in the ministry God has placed them in
• For small groups to grow in Jesus and in numbers
• That God will touch their youth group as they engage them with the Word of God
• That God will touch Helm Church and the Carthage community and bring lost souls to Christ
