*Important Notice: In an effort to provide a safe environment for all One Day participants and in accordance with the ABSC policy for events involving minors, we are asking each church to assume responsibility for screening all volunteers from the church by adhering to the following guidelines.
For One Day volunteers interested in serving in events involving minors, (Block Parties, Children’s Activities, Sports Activities, Children’s Fishing Derby), churches are responsible for verifying that adult volunteers (18+) have undergone a criminal background check and acknowledge that minor volunteers (17 & under) have no known sexually predatory behaviors, deviancies, or other sexually aggressive behaviors. This verification is included within the online registration.
