Experience a day of prayer, worship, and collaboration to multiply disciples and churches for God’s Kingdom.

Send Network Arkansas will hold a local, one-day event designed to inspire and equip planters, pastors, and Jesus followers to join in God’s activity of expanding God’s Kingdom through church planting. Through prayer, worship, learning, and collaboration, participants will discover practical tools and fresh vision for multiplying disciples and churches in their community. Join together with others from our state as we come together to see how God can move when His people unite for the Great Commission.

Mark Dance Mark Dance Executive Director, Arkansas Baptists

Keynote Speaker

Mark Dance is the Executive Director of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. He pastored and planted SBC churches for 30 years and led pastoral initiatives at Lifeway and GuideStone for 11 years. Dr. Dance authored Start To Finish and Rest Well, Lead Well. He earned degrees from Howard Payne University (BBA), SWBTS (M.Div), and SBTS (D.Min). Mark and Janet have two adult children and live in Conway, Arkansas.

Engaging Your Community through Outreach Events

Outreach events are one of the most effective ways to reach your community with the gospel. This breakout will provide you with practical tools to make these events even more effective, while also removing stress from you and your team along the way.

Reaching Hispanics in Your Community

Led by Francisco Gomez, Pastor, Iglesia Roca Fuerte and Hispanic Church Planting Catalyst, ABSC

This breakout is for English-speaking churches interested in partnering with Hispanics to begin a new work among Hispanics in their community. Francisco will address understanding the culture, how to engage Hispanics with the Gospel, how to begin discipleship practices and next steps for how to see a Hispanic congregation planted in the community.

Planter Wives Roundtable

Led by Emily Hendren, church planting wife and mom, Family Church, Siloam Springs

Come connect with other church planting wives for fellowship and prayer. Hear from other church planting wives about how to address your role as a church planting wife.

Partnering through Prayer

Led by Steve Lasiter, Church Planting Catalyst, Send Network Arkansas

Learn about strategies and practical tools for praying for planters here in AR and beyond.

Engaging People with the Gospel

Led by Jay Ham, Church Planting Catalyst, Send Network Arkansas and pastor, Church in the Dirt, Russellville.

Evangelism tools and practical helps for sharing Jesus.

Send Network Overview

Led by Chanson Newborn, Send Network Trainer

Overview of both the church and church planter side of planting a new work. Chanson will be talking through the Church Mobilization process, helping churches decide on their best next steps in engaging in church planting. He will also share about the process of becoming a church planter from his own journey.

Renew Arkansas

Led by Bob Johnson, Assistant Team Leader, Pastor + Church Health and Renew AR Coordinator; and Greg Varndell, Associational Missionary, North Pulaski Baptist Association

Renewal and replanting resources and strategies and an introduction to Renew Arkansas and how it can assist churches in next steps towards revitalization, replanting, or re-imagining how God can use their church in His Kingdom.

Make Disciples: Using NAMB’s Multiplication Pipeline

Led by Bo Smith, NAMB

Introduction to and hands on workshop for signing up on and using NAMBs Multiplication Pipeline. The Pipeline is a discipleship and leadership development tool with 3 years’ worth of modules and training to use in developing the next generation of leaders in your church.

Identifying Potential Leaders

Led by Tim Wicker, Director, Send Network Arkansas

Discover process to identify, equip, and send out future/potential leaders, church planters, replanters, and revitalizers from within your congregation.
