Spring Outreach Strategy

Reaching Our Communities With the Hope of the Gospel

4 Simple Components

The Spring Outreach Strategy is a coordinated initiative designed to help churches intentionally engage their communities and share the hope of the Gospel during key moments in the spring season. This strategy focuses on four simple, powerful components that work together to help your church build relationships, serve needs, and invite people to respond to Jesus. As you explore the four components below, click each link to access additional resources. If you have questions or need help, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

1. Who's Your One?

Personal Evangelism That Starts With Prayer

Who’s Your One? is a personal evangelism initiative from the North American Mission Board (NAMB) that challenges every Christian to intentionally identify one person in their life who does not know Jesus, pray for their salvation consistently, and look for opportunities to share the gospel with them. The movement emphasizes that evangelism is not about reaching everyone at once—it’s about faithfully  reaching the one God has placed on your heart.

2. Serve Local

Meeting Needs and Sharing Hope in Your Community

Over the past 4 years, over 8,500 Arkansas Baptists have mobilized to serve their local communities on one specific date. For the Spring Outreach Strategy, churches are encouraged to select a day, or multiple days, during March 28 - April 4 to serve their communities, meeting practical needs and strategically sharing the Gospel.

3. Big Day

An Intentional Invitation Moment

A key part of the ministries performed at Serve Local includes an invitation to Big Day. “Big Days” are recurring cultural moments in the year that can be used to invite people to church, including Easter. For the Spring Outreach Strategy, Big Day is April 5, which is Easter, a natural high attendance Sunday. Available resources will help churches prepare for the Big Day through guest readiness, evangelistic preaching, follow up, and more.

4. Baptism Sunday

Celebrating New Life in Christ

Churches are invited to mark April 12, 2026, the Sunday after Easter, as a day of celebrating decisions made through Serve Local and Big Day.
