Messenger Registration

If you plan to attend the Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, you must be an official messenger if you would like to participate in the business sessions. Anyone is welcome to attend the Annual Meeting as a guest but only messengers will be able to vote, make motions or speak to certain matters.

Each cooperating Arkansas Baptist church is allowed a certain number of messengers based on their total membership as reported in the Annual Church Profile (ACP). Additionally, each church must approve the messengers they choose to send to the meeting according to their process. Once messengers have been determined, they should preregister online using your church’s ACP login credentials. Messenger cards will need to be printed and brought to the Annual Meeting or messengers should be ready to show their email with the barcode at the registration desk.

How to register messengers:

  • Log in to ar.sbcworkspace.com using your church’s username and password printed in the top right corner on the 2026 Annual Church Profile statistical profile page.
  • Look for the box that says, “Active Conventions,” click on “2026 Convention.” If you do not see this information, please call 501-376-4791 for assistance.
  • The next screen will show how many messengers your church is allowed. If this number appears to be incorrect, please call 501-376-4791, ext. 5153.
  • Click on the green “Continue to Pre-Register” box at the bottom of the page.
  • Follow the instructions in the blue box to register each messenger. Before adding a new name into the database, please check to be sure that person isn’t already there under a different form of their name. (Bill instead of William or Robert instead of Bob, for example.) Anyone on staff should already be in the database and will not need to be added again.
  • You may print the messenger cards and give to each messenger to bring to the Annual Meeting or you may choose to send an email to their phone.

Upon arrival at the Annual Meeting, messengers must check in at the registration desk to receive voting ballots and a Book of Reports.

Call 1.800.838.2272 or 501.376.4791 if you need assistance during the pre-registration process.
