Super Kids Camp
Super Kids Camp 2022 Update:
We want to thank you for your participation, investment, and support for Super Kids Camp. Arkansas Baptists has a great desire to reach children with the Gospel, and we long to do that in the most effective ways possible. As you well know, the last two summers have deeply impacted children’s ministry, and that has caused many churches to carefully evaluate how they will conduct children’s ministry moving forward. The ABSC has also engaged in careful evaluation of existing ministries in order to determine the most effective ways to serve churches as they reach children.
In light of this evaluation, we have reached the difficult decision to cancel Super Kids Camp for 2022. When Super Kids was launched in 2019, the desire was to create a kids’ camp environment where churches of all sizes could bring their kids to hear the Gospel and grow in their faith. In addition to the challenges that COVID has presented, the decision is based on several factors, including Super Kids Camp’s inability to accommodate a large number of ABSC churches in its current form at Camp Paron and the absence of other affordable venues that enable us to expand.
I want you to know that the Arkansas Baptist State Convention is as committed as ever to serving churches as they reach and minister to kids. Soon, you will receive information on additional ideas and trainings for mission weeks, other overnight camps, day camps, and summer evangelism options. Join us in praying that God uses this time to reach more lost kids in our state than we have ever seen.
Thank you for your grace and understanding.
