Franklin Graham visited Little Rock Tuesday, April 12, 2016. This was one of 50 stops on his nationwide Decision America Tour. Decision America stops at each state capitol across America encouraging people to pray for their local, state, and federal government.
In Little Rock, tour organizers estimated more than 5,100 people were in attendance, but capitol police suggested that number may have been closer to 9,000. Those in attendance shared in a time of worship and prayer and recieved a message from Graham.
Graham made it a point not to choose sides in this event. He encouraged attenders to get behind Christians running for office. Graham concluded his speech challenging those in attendance to take a pledge. The two-part pledge included a commitment to honor God at home, in public, and with your vote. Secondly, it included a pledge to pray for America, vote in all elections supporting Christian candidates, and lastly engage your community and prayerfully consider running for office.
